Blooming Lotus Tai Chi offers classes and provides information about Tai Chi and Qi Gong in the greater Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Santa Clara County area. See our schedule page for class information. EACH INSTRUCTOR HAS THEIR OWN EMAIL AND CONTACT INFORMATION UNDER THEIR PROFILE AND SCHEDULE PAGE. Feel free to contact us by email or to contact individual instructors for questions about class content. We are trained in the rare Nam Hoa Temple style. All instructors have studied directly with, and are certified by Nam Hoa Temple Internal Arts Association Tai Chi Master Jim Scott-Behrends. Some of our instructors have also trained in the internationally recognized Tai Chi for Health Programs. All of the instructors on this website are fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19. Students must register through Dominican Hospital PEP Department either online or by calling the office. Three of the classes are outdoors in our garden patio as weather permits and students are enjoying the ambiance and the classes immensely. Current students have priority for registration for our next sessions, and need speak to our office staff directly to hold the space. January 2024 LOCAL MASK MANDATES HAVE BEEN LIFTED but indoor masking is recommended, ANNUAL COVID SHOTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE All people are encouraged to continue wearing masks while indoors in our classes as there has been an uptick of cases in the county since the holidays. Both MRNA vaccines and Novavax a new option available for covid vaccination. Follow public health recommendations to keep yourself and others safe.
